Library & Book Club

Situated in the heart of the school, the Bundanoon Public school library is nestled within the school’s original building. It’s ok, we’ve updated the books!

Students have library lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All classes have a dedicated library lesson during which they can borrow books to bring home. They are also welcome to borrow during 3rd break.

If you would like to choose some books with them, the library is also open after school on Tuesdays.

A small crate is located just outside the library where students can return books on any school day.

The library is also open to all students for play based learning during third break on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These activities include craft, board games, Lego, loom bands and our inclusive K-6 library monitor training program where students can volunteer to become more involved in and learn all about the library, while also developing some amazing research skills.

Please contact the school office or our school librarian, Emily Longshaw, if you have any queries. Donations are also always welcome especially of primary school aged books, loom bands or Lego.

Happy Reading and we look forward to seeing you at the library soon!

Why is digital citizenship important?

Digital Citizenship enables us to get the best out of the internet and keep ourselves and others safe and healthy in an online world.

Teaching Digital Citizenship in schools is about guiding students to the knowledge and experience they need to act responsibly online.

The 9 Key Ps of digital citizenship are:

  1. Password
  2. Private Information
  3. Photographs
  4. Personal Information
  5. Property
  6. Permission
  7. Protection
